Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before you start — and a few things you'll want to know after.
About the product
Lunio is a personalised sleep system for children aged 6 months to 8 years. You answer 5 questions about your child's age, sleep challenges, and current schedule. We use your answers to generate a complete pack — a personalised bedtime routine, a visual chart for the child, a parent coaching guide, and a sleep environment checklist — delivered instantly by email. A 7-night check-in tracker and personalised sleep report are included.
Generic sleep advice is written for no child in particular. Lunio uses your answers to select the routine, timing, tailored tips, and coaching scripts that match your child's specific age, challenges, and living situation. A 3-year-old night waker in a shared room gets different guidance than a 6-year-old who resists bedtime. The personalisation is the product — not the delivery format.
Lunio is built on the same paediatric sleep medicine principles sleep consultants use — consistent wind-down sequences, age-appropriate timing, sleep association management, and environment optimisation. The difference is delivery: a consultant charges €150–400 per hour for a personalised plan. Lunio produces the same type of plan in 3 minutes for €39, available tonight rather than weeks from now.
Lunio was built by a team of parents who spent years dealing with the same bedtime struggles you're reading about. The routines and guidance are grounded in published recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). We are not sleep consultants — we have built a system based on the science they use.
No. Lunio is a one-time purchase of €39. You receive the full pack immediately after payment and keep it permanently. The 7-night check-in emails are included at no extra cost. There is no subscription, no account required, and no recurring charge.
Lunio covers children aged 6 months to 8 years. The quiz maps your child's age to an age-appropriate routine — the timing, wind-down sequence, and guidance are different for a 9-month-old than for a 5-year-old. If your child is outside this range, the general principles in our blog may still be useful, but the personalised pack is optimised for this age window.
The pack
The pack contains four documents delivered as PDF files by email: a 7-page personalised bedtime routine with your child's specific schedule, tailored tips, and 7-night plan; a visual routine chart your child can follow themselves (printable A4); a 6-chapter parent coaching guide with resistance scripts, the 7-day plan, regression guidance, and co-parent alignment; and a sleep environment checklist with tonight actions for every item.
Your child's age, sleep challenges, current bedtime, wake-up target, living situation, and screen habits all affect what appears in the pack. The routine timing is calculated from your bedtime and wake-up targets. The tailored tips section addresses your specific flagged challenges. The co-sleeping section appears only if you selected co-sleeping transition. Your child's name appears on every document and the bedroom chart if you provided it.
All files are PDF. They open on any phone, tablet, or computer without additional software. The visual chart is designed to print at A4 size. The routine schedule on page 3 is designed to print and stick on the fridge. No app download is required.
Printing is optional but recommended for two documents. The visual routine chart is designed to be displayed at your child's eye level near the bedroom — it works best as a physical object they can point to and follow. The routine schedule works well on the fridge. Everything else can be read on your phone. Printing is not required to use the programme.
Yes, with one purchase per child. Because the pack is personalised to a specific child's age, challenges, and name, twins may have different challenges or slightly different optimal timing and would benefit from separate packs. If your twins share identical challenges and schedule, one pack covers the shared guidance — but the visual chart and name personalisation would be for one child only.
The quiz covers the most common situations — co-sleeping transition, shared rooms, screen use, and multiple sleep challenges. If your child has a diagnosed sleep disorder or medical condition affecting sleep, Lunio's approach may not be appropriate and we'd recommend working with a specialist. For typical sleep challenges in otherwise healthy children, the pack addresses most situations the quiz surfaces.
The 7-night tracker
After purchase you receive a daily email every morning for 7 nights. Each email contains a link to a 20-second check-in where you log how the previous night went — quality, what time your child fell asleep, and how many wake-ups occurred. The data builds your personalised sleep report, which arrives on day 8. No app is required — everything happens by email and a simple web page.
The default send time is 7:30am in your local timezone. When you enter your email on the thank-you page after purchase, you can adjust this to any time that works for your morning. If you miss a day, the next email arrives as normal — you can log missed nights retrospectively on the check-in page.
The day 8 report shows your 7-night summary — fall-asleep time each night, quality rating, wake-up count — as a simple visual. It includes one calculated insight based on your data, such as average fall-asleep time compared to night 1, and notes which nights showed the most improvement. It is personalised to your child's logged data, not a generic summary.
No — the tracker is optional. The bedtime routine pack works without it. However the tracker is included at no extra cost and serves two purposes: it keeps you accountable through the critical first 7 nights when most parents give up, and it generates the data for your day 8 sleep report. If you purchased the extended 14-night tracker order bump, the emails run for 14 nights and the report arrives on day 15.
If you have followed the routine for 7 nights and logged each night with the tracker and see no improvement, open a refund request from our support page with your logs and we will refund you in full. No forms, no lengthy process. Our 7-night guarantee is attached to genuine effort — running the routine consistently — not to a specific outcome, because sleep improvement timing varies by child.

About Nora
Nora is Lunio's virtual sleep consultant — trained on paediatric sleep medicine guidelines and given full context of your child's routine. She has full context of your child's challenges and nightly tracker logs. You can message her any time, including at 2am on a hard night, and she responds with guidance specific to your child's situation. Available as an add-on at checkout for €24.
Nora is a virtual sleep consultant. She knows your child's routine, your tracker logs, and exactly what night you're on. She is not a human sleep consultant — for medical concerns about your child's health, always contact your paediatrician.
About Nora Live
Nora Live is a 25–30 minute virtual voice consultation. You speak with Nora in real time — she listens, asks the questions that matter, names the pattern behind what's broken, and builds a plan from your conversation. The pack (€39) is built from a 5-question quiz. Nora Live (€89) is built from a conversation, includes the personalised routine output as part of the report, and is the right choice when something specific has broken down — illness, a holiday, a new baby, or weeks of disruption nothing has fixed.
Nora Live is for parents who don't need a starting point — they need someone to talk to. If you've already tried a routine or two, if your child's sleep used to be fine and recently broke, or if the situation is complicated enough that a quiz can't capture it, Nora Live is built for you. If you're starting from scratch and want the lowest-cost route, the pack is the better first step.
Three things, in your inbox before you sleep: (1) a full written session report — your situation in Nora's words, the pattern she identified, your 5-night plan, a dedicated Night 3 section, and the full session transcript; (2) the MP3 recording of your consultation, yours to keep and re-listen before Night 3 or share with your co-parent; (3) the personalised routine output (the pack output) as part of the report — you don't need to buy the pack separately.
Yes — the same 7-night effort-based guarantee that backs the pack. Follow the plan Nora builds for 7 nights and if there's no improvement, send us your notes and we refund in full. Because Nora Live is a live, scheduled consultation with a recording delivered immediately, refund requests outside the 7-night window are reviewed case-by-case.
Practical questions
The parent coaching guide includes a co-parent alignment chapter specifically for this. Children read inconsistency between adults instantly — if one parent holds the routine and the other negotiates, the child looks for the negotiation every night. The guide provides a conversation framework, the 5 things you both need to agree on, and a shared script. It is the most-read chapter in the pack for a reason.
Consistent routines are more resilient than parents expect, especially once established. The same sequence in a different room still signals the brain. The optional Weekend and Travel Routine Card order bump covers exactly this — how to hold the routine on holidays, at grandparents, and across time zones, including which elements matter most when the environment changes.
The routine needs a consistent target bedtime and wake-up time to work — the biology depends on regularity. If your schedule is genuinely irregular (shift work, different days each week), the pack will still give you a framework, but the 7-night compounding effect requires the same timing most nights. The pack includes guidance on minimising schedule variation and what to do when it is unavoidable.
Yes — the quiz includes a shared room option and the pack adjusts accordingly. Shared room situations require slightly more emphasis on both children learning independent sleep onset, since one child waking can trigger the other. The environment checklist and routine guidance account for this. If your children are significantly different ages, a pack for each may be more useful than one.
Co-sleeping transition is one of the four living situations in the quiz and the pack is specifically adapted for it. The routine uses a gradual approach — moving the final cuddle to the child's bed, then reducing physical presence over 5–7 nights. The coaching guide includes scripts for the common pushback moments specific to co-sleeping children. This is one of the more complex situations and the pack addresses it directly.
Lunio is designed for typically developing children aged 6 months to 8 years. Some children with additional needs, sensory sensitivities, or developmental differences respond well to consistent routines — often better than neurotypical children. However we are not specialists in additional needs sleep and cannot make specific recommendations. If your child has a diagnosis that affects sleep, we recommend discussing any sleep programme with their specialist first.
After purchase
Immediately. The pack is generated and emailed within minutes of payment confirmation. If you do not see it within 10 minutes, check your spam folder. If it is not there, use the resend button on the thank-you page or contact us via our support page and we will send it again within the hour.
Yes. The thank-you page at hellolunio.com/thank-you contains download links for every document in your pack. These links are valid for 12 months. After 12 months, contact us via our support page and we will regenerate your pack. We also recommend saving the PDFs to your phone or a cloud drive immediately after downloading.
Open a request from our support page using the address you used to purchase. We can resend the pack or give you access to the thank-you page download links. We store order data securely for 24 months, so we can retrieve your order.
Yes — forwarding the email and sharing the PDF files with your co-parent is encouraged. The co-parent alignment chapter in the coaching guide is specifically written for both parents to read together. Sharing with other families would mean they receive a pack personalised for your child, which is not useful to them — they would need to go through the quiz to get their own.
You will receive the 7-night check-in emails automatically after purchase. Beyond those, we send occasional emails when we publish new sleep guides or add new products — usually once or twice a month. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email. The tracker check-in emails stop automatically after 7 nights (or 14 if you purchased the extended tracker).
Trust and safety
Yes. Lunio is built and hosted in the EU. We collect only what is needed to deliver your pack — your quiz answers, email address, and payment confirmation. We never sell your data or use it to train AI models. Your payment is processed by Paddle — we never see or store your card details. Full details are in our Privacy Policy at hellolunio.com/privacy.
All guidance in the Lunio pack is grounded in published paediatric sleep medicine recommendations. We do not recommend any approach that involves extended unsupported crying, unsafe sleep environments, or methods that contradict established safe sleep guidelines. If your child has a medical condition or you have concerns about their health, consult your paediatrician before starting any sleep programme.
We offer a 7-night effort-based guarantee. If you follow the routine for 7 nights, log each night with the tracker, and see no improvement by day 8, open a refund request from our support page with your tracker logs and we will refund you in full. No lengthy forms, no difficult process. Full terms are at hellolunio.com/refund-policy.
Because the pack is a personalised digital product delivered immediately on purchase, we do not offer refunds for change of mind — only for the 7-night guarantee described above. If you have not yet opened or downloaded the pack and contact us within 24 hours, we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
No — and we are transparent about that. Lunio was built by parents, not certified consultants. The guidance is based on published paediatric sleep medicine research from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), not on personal clinical experience. If your child has complex sleep needs or a medical condition affecting sleep, we recommend working with a certified paediatric sleep specialist in addition to or instead of Lunio.
We review and update the pack content when meaningful new guidance is published by major paediatric sleep medicine bodies. Buyers who have already purchased will be notified by email if we make significant updates to the guidance and given access to the updated version at no charge.
